Dec 12, 2025

As a Missouri Lottery player checked the Powerball ticket he’d purchased at QuikTrip, 9404 Page Ave. in Overland, the display read an unfamiliar message to contact the Lottery. Thinking he had won a free ticket in the Nov. 26 drawing, he handed it to the clerk – who shared he had actually won $150,000.

The next bit of business for the new winner was to call his wife.

“He called me to tell me we won. I asked him where he was,” his wife laughed. “Then I told him to go to the car, lock the doors and come home!”

The winning ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers, plus the Powerball number drawn. Because the winner had also added the Power Play option to his ticket, his base prize of $50,000 was immediately tripled when the Power Play number drawn was 3. The winning numbers for the Nov. 26 drawing were 7, 8, 15, 19 and 28 with the Powerball number of 3.

Powerball is a is a multi-state Draw Game with drawings held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. Saturday’s estimated jackpot is $1 billion.

In FY25, players in St. Louis County won more than $195.9 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $18.8 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $47.9 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
